Day 2-3 #wallsofjerusalem track. 🦵 I kept a lit Day 2-3 #wallsofjerusalem track. 🦵 I kept a little secret before this walk - I was told the week prior my left hip needs replacement surgery. Wear and tear exasperated by a recent surfing injury - in theory it’s good to know what I’m up against. But.. I also understand what my mentor and good friend @ware.ken1 @neurophysicstherapy refers to as psychophysical dynamics. That the body has the ability to recalibrate if we allow the mind to take a back seat. And that’s what I did. Day one 6km uphill (1200 meter gradient) with 20kg backpack and everything was telling me to stop, but it was the perfect landscape to pull myself out of the rogue attractor state. That first day there were some deep moments that were unbelievably challenging - but knew I had to back myself. It’s a superpower Ken has taught me but to walk away from this hike now pain free and an upgraded version of myself always leaves me speechless but so bloody grateful Ken came into my world. The body is amazing and we need to give it more credit rather pass it over to others to fix. Powerful stuff.. @lifechangerfoundation

Aussie titles cheesy smiles 😁Flew in from Tassi Aussie titles cheesy smiles 😁Flew in from Tassie, crossed the road to Nth Kirra and was so thrilled to catch all the finals Sunday arvo at Youth Aussies. I’m so proud of @ellas.life.on.film for making 6 finals with her @tugunsurflifesaving club mates. High standard and the skills of these athletes first year on mals was amazing to witness 👍🏻🥰

What a lovely day @lifesavingqld Surf Women of the What a lovely day @lifesavingqld Surf Women of the Year Alumni Luncheon at Mooloolaba surf club. I’m not envying the judges as each one of the ladies are amazing and inspirational! 🙌🏼 Now sitting on the other side of the fence being Surf Sports Director and Committee member at Tugun SLSC, I’ve come to appreciate the different levels you can be involved with your local surf club. The revamped surf women of the year program is again another example of the diversity and opportunities surf lifesaving offers in empowering, and encouraging females to take leadership roles and supporting their local clubs. 😄 oh and it was special having my mum join me who was an original ‘women in surf’ in her own right! 🥰
