A little insight into a downwind SUP paddle

When the wind is on, one of my most favourite things to do is grab my SUP and head out for a good downwind paddle. It is an amazing feeling to catch the ‘runners’ that are formed by the wind and swell and ride them til your heart is content.

My husband Andrew, caught a little action out on the ocean ski of my paddle groups 24 km paddle from Kingscliffe to Tallebudgera on the Gold Coast. Fun day and apparently it’s great for fitness.).. Here’s a little peak into what it’s like on a tame day..
