I know it’s winter…swimwear review

A girl can NEVER have too many sets of bikini’s or swimwear.  It really sets up the tone  for what you’re about to do….daggy swimmers are just not acceptable with so many great choices to choose from and gorgeous prints making a splash this coming season.

Funkita recently sent me a few sets of their latest collection to test drive with my girls and so a mini photo shoot was top priority as soon as the sun shone!

Tankini’s and briefs were the swimwear of choice for the girls, with Summer choosing the cute Lost in Nemo print and Ella liking the floral Daisy Chain fabric.  The fabric is chlorine resistant which is great to see a whole Summer through (and pass on to a younger child if you’re lucky)

I was keen to try the underwire diamond back one piece which is great for jogging or swimming in.  It provides more coverage under the armpit also so you’re not worrying too much about ‘popping out’ by keeping everything in place.

For the days when the sun is shining and I want to catch some rays then the Brazilian bikini is perfect. With minimal straps it won’t leave tan lines and the bottoms have a drawstring for piece of mind in the surf or diving off swimming blocks…yes it has happened before!  The added bonus is that you can buy them as separates if you’re like me and require different sized top and bottoms.

Both of these are again, are chlorine resistant and hard wearing.

So if you’re in the market for something bold and bright check out Funkita’s new range, believe it or not but bold often takes the focus off bulges 😉

So if you haven’t noticed anything different, I’ll let you know a secret….yes I have an updated blog!  I’m now on a new domain (if you want to update your browser settings ( ) I hope that all redirections work and if your subscribed to my posts they will show up…eventually! If you would like to receive my posts straight to your in box a couple of times a week there is a widget on the sidebar where you can pop your email and I’ll take care of the rest. Alternatively I have a row of social media icons you can also follow me on in the header including bloglovin.

Thanks again for your support and I hope you like the new format.
